The Chord Company is one of the few hifi companies started and owned by a woman. Sally Kennedy saw a gap in the market place from her base in Salisbury to produce interconnect cables for use with Naim equipment (no one else was addressing this requirement).
These days, The Chord Company produce a wide range of excellent speaker, video and audio cables sourced from all over the world.
