Hitachi are one of the worlds' largest consumer electronics companies and in Japan are equally famous for their large engineering diivisions. Overture started to deal with Hitachi in 2001 when they manufactured plasma TVs (having acquired the Japanese plasma manufacturer Fujitsu).
