Ivor Tiefenbrun of Linn has been responsible for a lot since he drove the length and breadth of Britain with the now legendary LP12 back in the early 1970s. He not only influenced a whole generation of music lovers and audio dealers, but changed the whole Hi-Fi industry. Linn are involved
in so many areas of the audio industry now, it is difficult to keep up
with the constant flow of products from Eaglesham. From top end amplification
(Klimax twin and Pre Amp) through the new AV products (5125 and 2250 power
amplifiers) and the Kivor Hard Disc MultiRoom addiitions, it is easy to
forget the Classik and Movie Classik niche product. For sure, Linn have
been very busy, and we do not expect the flow of new offerings to slow
in 2003, in fact the rumour mill suggests that there will be even more
great new, ground-breaking things to come..
We have been hugely impressed with the Classik products from Linn, The Movie Classik offers incredible processing and amplification (even if it cannot process external sources) and the Music Classik has provided a great option for multi-room buyers to expand their sources.
