Miller and Kreisel
have been producing loudspeaker systems for a long time, and professionals
have been using them for a long time too (the first Steely Dan album was
mixed on a pair of M&K speakers back in the early 70s). George Lucas is
a big fan, all of his editing suites use M&K multi-channel speaker systems.
We have always loved
M&K SubWoofers, but now use their surround speaker packages whenever the
best is demanded.
News
Lots of changes
with M&K recently, and some cosmetic changes that make the speakers look
almost attractive! They have always been very neat and compact, but rather
utilitarian, now we have maple veneers and silver, white finishes.
M&K will always take
a refreshingly different approach, always providing us with niche products,
ask about the column rear speakers for evidence of this!.
We have changed the
range of SubWoofers that we carry on demonstration recently- the MX350
is a permanent fixture in the dem room, now supported by the MX700 and
K10 subs.
Our trusty demo S85s
are to be replaced by the new S850 which offers much improved range, better
dispersion, a maple finish and huge increase in sensitivity. We will still
run this with the MX350 or MX700 but we have used K4 surrounds which have
to be the most perfect surround speaker ever designed. They are dinky,
cute and any other Americanism that you can think of.
Coming soon, the K
series system with fronts and K10 sub to match the K4s.
