Spendor is a name that has long been associated with quality loudspeakers for home and professional use. The brand has been re-launched by Philip Swift (of Audiolab fame) who has continued the Spendor traditions of superb cabinetry and build quality but added a modern clarity that means that the range sits happily in any good hifi.

Wood veneers available across the range are Maple and Cherry as standard and finish is of a very high standard. Connections are BiWireable into gold plated 4mm plugs. The floorstanding models use a 'linear flow port' which means that positioning in the listening room is less crucial than most ported designs.
The smaller S3 model is an absolute gem and works in many different system contexts (we have used them successfully in Naim, Arcam, Quad and Linn systems) especially when coupled with a decent pair of speaker stands..
