Nursing Home Cinema

When the owners of this new nursing home were deciding on the facilities that were to be offered to their clients, it was decided that a cinema would be a huge benefit.  Overture were invited to design a suitable system and the result is a wonderful space with great sound and vision which can be enjoyed by over 50 people at a time!

The room is used for playing Bluray and DVD discs plus high definition television, perfect for sporting events (and of course Eastenders!).  There is also a PC connection as the room is used as a training suite for the many highly qualified staff members.

The seven discreet speakers around the room are made by British company PMC and these are supplemented by two large SubWoofers from Paradigm, all these are driven from a Denon AV Receiver and BluRay machine.  The Epson HD projector fills the 10 foot wide Vutek fixed screen with wonderful High Definition images.

Ease of use was hugely important to the various staff members who would be responsible for using the facilities at Godswell House so a Philips Pronto touchscreen was provided so that all the functions could be easily controlled.
